Well, it's a new month, and that new month is December - that means Christmas is nearly here! Well, if I keep telling myself that it might be true eventually. I'm looking forward to this month, actually. Our school is holding a 'Christmas ball' for our sixth form, which should be good fun. There is also going to be the (now) annual exodus of our year to the cinema shortly after the Christmas holidays start to go see the new Lord of the Rings movie, which is also great fun.
On more thoughtful note, however, we had an RSS day at school - no lessons, just talking to people (or being talked to by people, as was more the case) about religion and different life philosophies like Nihilism, Theism, Hedonism and so on. I'm not really sure where I stand at the end of the day, but I found it very interesting nonetheless, and it did make me think about one or two things, such and life and the meaning thereof. However, as this is dangerous behaviour, I stopped. It was thoroughly enjoyable, however, and the two men that did the three hour presentation at the start gain my respect for two reasons:
- They knew what Quantum Leap was
- They added another terrible joke to my already fearsome repertoire of bad puns - "Diarrhea has recently been discovered to be hereditary - it runs in your genes. (Say it out loud if you don't immediatly get it)
