I can't believe that it's November already. I don't know where this year has gone. I have, however, returned to a game that I keep leaving and going back to. I used to play Ragnarok Online when it was in beta and free. Then it went P2P and I stopped. Then it returned to beta, and I played again. Then it went P2P and has remained since, with me not playing. Gravity managed to mess everyone around, and many other people also decided to stop playing - they messed up to such an extent that even sites such as ro.pak0.com shut down out of protest (it is now up again, but not dealing with anything Ragnarok related. However, I have been watching the development of a program called YARE - Yet Another Ragnarok Emulator. It lets people run their own servers for free and have other people play on them.

It has been in development for a long time, and after the most recent update, it became a lot like the standard Ragnarok Servers - previously it was, in my opinion, a bit limited in what you could do. It still is, but it is a lot better than it was. As such, I am now playing on a third party server for free. And it is good fun - a limited number play on third party servers, so you generally are much friendlier. It'll keep me entertained for a few weeks, at least!

Back to school tomorrow, which is never a good thing. Hopefully I don't have any exams tomorrow, though, which will ease the pain. Only time will tell...
